About Kai

I’m a writer, baby, and there’s no denying it.

I may not be the most experienced, but I’ll keep trying. I may not be the most confident, but I’ll keep trying. I may not be the luckiest, but I’ll keep trying.

Because that’s what life is about. Because when you keep trying, you will eventually succeed. As Edison put it, “many of life’s failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.”

My life is a long chain of miracles, which most of the time I forget, gloss over, fail to pay tribute to: born under communism, raised on a patch of heaven, beloved daughter, witness to revolutions, breaker of barriers, challenger of convention, student of legendary masters, fortunate friend, survivor of violence, nomad, spiritual daredevil, protector of magic, slave to logic, servant of the Universe. And most importantly, WRITER.

Healers comes from my heart. It’s not the next great American novel; then again, it’s not intended to be. It’s intended to be a good story that provides escape from the routine of our lives, for those times when you feel like reality has to stop talking and give you a break.

“The plot gripping enough to keep you easily hooked throughout. (…) Unquestionably a fun Sci-Fi thriller for the poolside or bedtime,” as a UK reviewer put it. I’ll take it.

The second installment, Revolution, is on its way. And I’m excited about the possibilities it holds.
